Medical Swedish Massage: Low Back, Hips and Legs

This is a fun, high energy class designed to help the massage therapist identify the anatomy involved in treating clients with low back, hip or leg pain.

A series of specific strokes and techniques will be given for common medical pathologies in this area, such as, sciatica, lumbago, lordosis, disc problems, shin splints and plantar fasciitis. 

Students will review anatomy, perform postural analysis, learn range of motion techniques and apply trigger point therapy.
